Jumeirah to Open Three New Hotels in China

Luxury Middle Eastern hotel group Jumeirah has announced it is to open three new high-end properties in China.

First to open in 2016 will be the Jumeirah Nanjing, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, and located in the new Hexi business district of the city of Wuhan.

Then in 2018 will come Jumeirah Haikou Resort, featuring 60 villas as part of an exclusive golf community on a private island in Hainan

Finally, in 2020, the Jumeirah Wuhan will open, designed by British studio Foster and Partners and boasting a prime city centre location near Hankou in Wuhan.

Both properties in Wuhan and Hainan are owned by subsidiaries of Yuexiu Group, a Guangzhou-based property development company.

Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts currently operates 22 hotels, resorts and residences, including eleven in the Middle East, six in Europe and five in Asia.
