Karl Lagerfeld and Swarovski: The Perfect Marriage of Luxury
Two of the biggest names in luxury, Karl Lagerfeld and Swarovski, have teamed up to create an eye-catching new collection of trinkets.
The collaboration between the German fashion brand and Austrian crystal makers marks the first in an on-going project, with two collections promised each year.
If this first collection is anything to go by, there is plenty to be excited about. Swarovski devotees can look out for personalised charms, ear jackets, pearls, chains and studs encrusted with Swarovski crystals, finished with gold plating, rose gold plating and rhodium plating.
The collection is divided in three parts: Ikonic, which will showcase a rockstar aesthetic; Klassic Karl, which will be inspired by Karl’s kitty Choupette; and lastly Essentials, which will made up of classic pieces
The collection will be available at Swarovski Crystal World locations, Karl Lagerfeld stores and the designer’s website in September this year.
Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1933, Karl Lagerfeld has grown to become one of the world’s most famous fashion designers, artists and photographers.
Swarovski was founded in Austria in 1895.
