German luxury fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has opened his first London boutique – and his 19th across the world.

Situated on London’s prestigious Regent Street, the store held a star-studded launch attended by such renowned figures from the fashion world as Suki Waterhouse, Cara Delevingne, Amber Le Bon and David Gandy.

Billed as offering “accessible luxe” the new store boasts a wide selection from Lagerfeld’s clothing range as well as accessories including iPhone covers, tokidoki toy dolls, Union Jack pillows and neon light installations.

The store also features iPads in the fitting rooms pre-loaded with Karl-inspired photo filters to allow customers to take ‘selfies’.

Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1933, Lagerfeld has grown to become one of the world’s most famous fashion designers, artists and photographers. Over the years he has worked with renowned fashion brands including Chanel, Fendi and Chloé.
