Karl Lagerfeld to open New Paris Concept Store
German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is to open his first concept store in Paris early next year, it has been announced.
Located on Boulevard St-Germain, the famous Rive Gauche shopping thoroughfare, the store will house a range of pieces from the designer’s namesake label, Karl Lagerfeld Paris.
These will be complemented by books, accessories, and a selection of limited-edition items from Lagerfeld’s collaborations, including tableware collections created with Swedish crystal maker Orrefors, luxury pens and lighters for S.T. Dupont, and the Karl Lagerfeld Diet Coke range.
The announcement of the new store, expected to open in February 2013, was made during Paris Fashion Week, which comes to an end today.
Lagerfeld has grown to become one of the world’s most revered fashion designers, artists and photographers thanks to his work with iconic brands including Chanel, Fendi and Chloé.
