Karl Lagerfeld World Opens its Doors in Paris

Iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has opened his first Paris store, joining the ranks of the world’s fashion elite already entrenched in the French capital.

The opening, which took place on Friday, was attended by a host of celebrities from the world of entertainment, including French actor Nicolas Duvauchelle, American rapper Theophilus London and English singer songwriter Marianne Faithfull.

It houses a selection of pieces from the German-born designer’s namesake label, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, as well as books, accessories, and a range of limited-edition items from his numerous collaborations.

The new store also exhibits the new Karl Lagerfeld range of timepieces that recently debuted at Paris Fashion Week.

Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1933, Lagerfeld has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned fashion designers, artists and photographers. Over the years he has worked with famous brands including Chanel, Fendi and Chloé.
