Kelsey Quan Unveils Spring/Summer 2012 Collection
American jewellery designer Kelsey Quan has unveiled her second hand-made collection since arriving on the scene earlier this year.
Building upon her passion for bold, bright colours, the designer’s new collection features vibrant necklaces and bracelets boasting a kaleidoscopic collage of colours and forms.
Hand crafted, florescent resin collars, dyed leathers wrapped around chording and the accent of bright wires combine, whilst the designer’s trademark use of contrasting natural and man-made materials and geometric shapes are explored through hand crocheted agate stones and the metal hardware.
A self-taught designer based in Brooklyn, New York, Ms Quan has worked as both a designer and a stylist.
Earlier this year she featured on Elle.com’s accessories blog as a “designer to watch” as well as on IntoTheGloss.com and in the New York Times newspaper.
