Kempinski Opens Its First Luxury Hotel In Austria
Luxury hotel group Kempinski Hotels opened its first property in Austria last week – the 5-star Das Tirol residence in the western town of Kitzbühel.
Situated in the Kitzbühel Alps, Das Tirol is billed as the only luxury hotel in the region with direct access to ski slopes, and is already a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The hotel boasts 118 superior double rooms, 13 junior suites, 16 suites and one Penthouse suites, all offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery.
As well as being in an ideal location for skiing, Das Tirol also offers its own stunning on-site spa, as well as two restaurants with distinctive menus: The Steinberg and the Sra Bua by Wini Brugger restaurants.
