Kharma Creates “World’s Most Expensive” Audio System

By Paul Joseph

Dutch audio experts Kkarma have created what are being billed as the most advanced – and expensive – audio system in the world.

Makers of the Kharma Enigma Veyron Speaker System claim its exclusive Omega F drivers are infused with innovative technology, helping create an unparalleled listening experience.

It is this, along with what is said to be the largest diamond cone surface in the history of speakers, that accounts for its lofty billing, and indeed price tag, with each system available for an eye-popping $1.5 million.

As well as the ground-breaking technology and valuable diamond component, the system is also a highly stylish piece. The 5-axis CNC machined Bulletwood parts in the cabinet are crafted with finesse, while the subwoofer, tweeters and the amplifier are housed in an elaborate and elegant looking stack.

Headuqartered in Breda, Holland, Kharma are an audio equipment manufacturer producing mainly loudspeakers and cables.

The company was founded as Oosterum Loudspeaker Systems by Charles van Oosterum in 1982.
