Renowned Italian shipyard Riva and prestigious French champagne house Veuve Clicquot have joined forces to produce two new pieces for the sophisticated luxury goods collection.

Both pieces are designed for the storage and enjoyment of Veuve Clicquot's first-class champagne, La Grande Dame.

In true nautical style, the talented craftsmen at Riva have used quality boat-making techniques and traditional materials like mahogany wood, chrome and leather to create the sea-inspired pieces.

The Cruise Collection includes a semi-circular carry case holding two La Grande Dame 88 magnums and four standard bottles of La Grande Dame 98.

Apart from the bubby, buyers will also find six Riedel flutes, six water tumblers, plates, placemats and cutlery inside. The piece is priced at US$80,000.

The portable Cruiser Bag is a limited edition and designed to mimic the back of the Aquariva yacht with its black lacquer, leather trim, mahogany inlay, and chrome accents.

Included in the bag is a bottle of La Grande Dame 98 and two champagne flutes. The cruiser bag is limited to a run of 300, each priced at US$475.
