Lalique and Patrón Tequila Create $7,500 Decanter

Limited to just 500 bottles and priced at $7,500, the handmade Patrón en Lalique decanter comes filled with the oldest blend of Patrón tequilas derived from the spirit maker's barrel aging room at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico.

Its creators took inspiration from Mexico’s Weber Blue Agave plant and have added an amber crystal bottle stopper, while Lalique’s signature technique of using clear and frosted crystal finishes allows the amber colour of the tequila to shine through.

The extra añejo tequila has been aged for at least four years in a combination of new American oak and new and used French oak barrels.

Each bottle is individually numbered, hand-polished and comes in a handmade leather display case with a gemstone detail, while a leather-bound book and video that chronicles the collaboration is also included.

Lalique was founded by René Laliquein the late 19th century. In recent times it has reinvented itself as a luxury lifestyle brand, specialising in crystal jewellery, perfumes, decorative objects, interior design, and art pieces.
