Lamborghini and Roger Dubius Unveil Aventador Watches

By Paul Joseph

Italian sports car makers Lamborghini and Swiss watch brand Roger Dubuis have teamed up to produce two beautiful new timepieces.

Unveiled at the Lamborghini Headquarters in Italy recently, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S comes in two variations and is billed as blending Italian design aesthetic and performance with Swiss precision.

Limited to 88 pieces, the EX613 with yellow accents comes with a retail price of $185,000. The EX624, meanwhile identifiable by its orange accents and carbon cover plate, is limited to 8 pieces and is priced at $205,000.

The development of the watches has also given rise to an all-new caliber, which is said to be inspired by the engine of the Lamborghini Aventador S and the new Lamborghini Huracàn Super Trofeo EVO sports cars.

Both new releases feature multilayer carbon cases and are powered by the all-new double balance hand-wound caliber RD103SQ, which runs at 4Hz and offers a power reserve of 40-hours.

The two versions are 45mm wide, 14.05mm thick, and use winning Pirelli racing tires for straps thanks to Roger Dubuis’s collaboration with Pirelli.
