Lamborghini Gallardo Gold Edition Unveiled at Hong Kong Car Show
A special gold edition of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 has been presented to the public at the Shenzhen Hong Kong Macau International Auto Show.
Limited to just 10 models and features, the gold edition Gallardo is being rolled out exclusively for the Chinese market.
The cars feature special gold metallic body paint as well as new alloys and engine cover, and red stitching on the interior’s steering wheel and seats.
Everything else on the Gallardo remains the same, including the 5.2 litre V10 engine that delivers 552 horse power at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 398 lb-ft available at 6,500 rpm.
The creation of the special edition Gallardo comes as the demand for luxury cars in China continues to spiral. Other luxury brands including Aston Martin with their Dragon88 cars, and Rolls-Royce with the ‘Year of the Dragon’ Phantom collection cars, have already made efforts to capitalise on this rapidly-growing market.
The Gallardo Gold Edition is priced at 3.988 million Yuan ($600,000).
