Lavital Create High-Tech Luxury Bed
Bed-makers Lavital have designed an ultra-luxury bed complete with a range of multimedia functions including a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Designed by Dutch interior designer Robert Kolenik, the “Eco Chic Multi Media Box Spring Bed” is billed as combing Dutch handmade craftsmanship, sustainable design and sublime sleeping comfort, with the cutting edge in multimedia technology.
Luxury Danish audo specialists Bang & Olufsen collaborated on the bed – which has been named “Anemone” – to create a truly unique sleeping solution, which features an electronically operated TV.
Moreover the position of the bed-frame, as well as the lamination of lights and candles, along with the B&O speakers, can all be adjusted through the integrated dock station of an iPhone or iPod.
Robert Kolenik specializes in eco-friendly design, and the Anemone is no different, featuring a headboard and frame crafted using cradle to cradle eco-board panels, and an exclusive box spring made of sustainable materials like organic cotton, organic sheep's wool, organic flax, and horse hair.
Lavital offers customers a personal touch by etching every mattress with the owner’s name, along with a unique registration number.
