Linley Lightscape Collection the Ultimate Superyacht Furnishings
On the docks of Port Hercule at last month’s Monaco Yacht Show was an eye-catching new collection by legendary British interior designers and furniture makers Linley.
The London-based company, who have previously fitted out bespoke saloons for a number of renowned superyachts, have produced the Lightscape collection for their Extraordinary Furniture range, featuring an array of striking pieces designed to adorn luxury yachts.
According to its makers, the collection was partly inspired by modern architecture, scaled down into the form of lavish home furniture.
Among the most notable pieces in the collection are Gentleman’s Valet Cabinet, a steel and glass cabinet inspired by skyscrapers bathed in sunlight and featuring mother of pearl, bleached sycamore and eucalyptus, along with a walnut interior.
Other pieces include a Cocktail Console, featuring a silver leaf map of London and ideal for on-board entertaining, and a City Bureau boasting a fold-down leather writing surface, stationary drawers, laptop and tablet compartments, and an infotainment device housing a marine chronometer that displays time, maps, photographs and videos on a mirrored touchscreen.
Pricing for the Lightscape collection by Linley starts at £80,000.
