With the London Jewellery Week 2010 well underway, the world of high end adornments has come alive throughout London.

At the launch of London Jewellery Week on Monday 7th June, press, industry elite, celebrities and jewellers filled London’s Goldsmith Hall in order to network with representatives, funders and sponsors such as the London Development Agency, Camden and Newham Councils, Jaguar Cars ltd and Swarovski.

The stage was set for a fantastic week of glittering events with Lanson Champagne flowing and speeches by Hector Miller of the Goldsmith’s Company and Della Tinsley, Director of London Jewellery Week.

The excitement continued on Tuesday 8th June with the Goldsmith’s Company’s elegant Salon Privé fashion show at Goldsmith’s Hall. The glamorous event featured the stylish couture fashions of London fashion designer, Ulrich Engler and jewellery by David Marshall, Elizabeth Gage, Dower & Hall, Boodles and a selection of jewellers from the Goldsmith’s fair.

Dower & Hall hosted their Pearl Party on 10th June, which offered visitors the opportunity to indulge in a glass of Champagne whilst browsing a veritable portfolio of exquisite pearl collections.

London Boutique Little 15 Jewellery also celebrated the launch of The Peacock and The Crow collection by award-winning designer, Alex Monroe.

High end luxury jewellery brands such as Satya Jewellery, Swarovski Gems, Erickson Beamon, Amanda Brighton, Gill Wing and The Goldsmiths Company alongside many others are showcasing a wide variety of enviable adornments throughout the week, until 13th June. Many more exciting events to come include the open days at Flux Studios, Wedding Lists Launch and the launch of the new Ruth Tomlinson at Aesop.
