London-on-Water 2017 to Offer Luxury Showcase

By Paul Joseph

London-on-Water, the capital's only in-water yachting and boating festival, is to be held as a standalone event for the first time this year, showcasing a wide range of boats and luxury products at the historic St Katharine Docks.

Formerly the everyday boating arm of the Prestige London show, unprecedented interest generated by both shows has meant that Prestige London has moved to a different date and location – at Battersea Evolution in June – while London On-Water, will take place for four days in May.

As well as presenting an array of beautiful yachts and boats of all varieties in the Central Basin of St Katharine Docks, the show will also feature a luxury ‘Mariner’s Retail Village’ on Marble Quay, selling everything from clothing to coasters and anchors to echo-sounders, while a selection of beautiful luxury cars will keep the landlubber entranced.

With newly upgraded pontoons, St Katharine Docks is a very popular gathering point for Londoners working and living in or near the City.

Together with shore-side displays and entertainment, fine cafés and restaurants, plus the famous Dickens Inn pub, the event is anticipated to be an overwhelming success as it embarks on its first solo venture.

London-on-Water 2017 will take place from 4 – 7 May.
