Los Angeles Penthouse on Sale for $45 million

A lavish four-bedroom penthouse situated at the top of the Residences at W Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles has gone on the market for $45 million.

Located on the 15th floor and spread across 25,000 square feet, the apartment  also boasts eight bathrooms and panoramic views of Los Angeles, including Hollywood Hlls, Century City and the Pacific Ocean.

The master suite alone encompasses a vast 4,000 square metres and also comes with a fireplace, entry foyer and walk-in closet. It has also been fitted out with a dressing room designed in the style of a Ralph Lauren store, according to Richard Robertson III, the architect behind the penthouse’s striking appearance.

Other notable features include a ballroom large enough to accommodate 250 guests. A wine room and vault, a screening room wth LCD projection, a solarium, a gallery and a pub-style tap room.

The owners and their guests can also avail themselves of a fitness centre, a beauty parlor, a library, 17 valet parking spaces and a reception area with segregated women’s and men’s powder rooms.

Also containing a W hotel, the Residences at W Hollywood arrived on the LA landscape in 2010.

Owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the W brand has achieved a global reputation for its stylish, design-oriented properties aimed primarily at younger demographics.
