Louis Vuitton & Fortnum and Mason Unveil Tea-Trunk

By Paul Joseph

One of the most venerable names in London, Fortnum and Mason have been a staple of the capital’s luxury landscape for over three centuries.

Now the famous store has teamed up with a French compatriot with a similarly distinguished heritage – Louis Vuitton.

The two brands have teamed up to collaborate on a lavish tea-trunk comprising a wooden foldable table, removable tray, and natural cowhide leather handles.

Called Secrétaire Thé, the piece also come with a Fortnum & Mason Camellia Tea Set featuring a gold-gilded pattern crafted exclusively for Fortnum’s in Stoke-on-Trent - the British home of fine china for centuries - with a design inspired by the beautiful handmade wallpaper of the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon.

The trunk is part of the French Art de Vivre ‘Louis Vuitton and London,’ a collection celebrating the brand’s enduring spirit of innovation.

Located on the prestigious Piccadilly thoroughfare in London, Fortnum and Mason was founded by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason in 1707.
