Louis Vuitton Design Luggage Set for BMW i8
Iconic French fashion house Louis Vuitton has teamed up with luxury car makers BMW to create a collection of luggage pieces to match the innovative BMW i8 plug-in hybrid.
The four-piece suitcase set is made entirely of lightweight carbon fibre and has been pattered to match the interior of the car.
Comprising two travel bags, a business case and a garment bag, each piece boasts a carbon black finish and dyed natural leather handles, all complete with Louis Vuitton’s hallmark chequered Damier pattern.
Further nods to the i8 come with black and electric blue used in the microfibre lining of the luggage, mirroring the car’s trademark colours.
The Louis Vuitton luggage series will be available upon request in Louis Vuiitton stores worldwide from the beginning of April 2014.
Designed by Benoit Jacob, the production BMW i8 was first unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is due to hit the market in 2014.
