Louis Vuitton Launch New Tambour Timepieces with VVV Logo
Louis Vuitton have created a new series of men’s watches featuring the triple V signature that appeared in the brand’s iconic advertising from the 1960s.
Named after the advert which read “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” – translating as “Fly, Sail, Travel” – the Tambour VVV is a five-model collection containing a steel GMT, a steel or 18-karat pink gold chronograph and a Spin Time GMT in 18-carat white gold or pink gold.
The Spin Time GMT model features the exclusive Spin Time movement patented in 2010, while the GMT model shows the minutes on the chronograph, naturally pointing the triple V downwards.
Each model comes in a stainless steel case with grey and black lacquered dial and is set on supple grey ombré calf leather bracelets embossed with the triple V that was originally seen Louis Vuitton’s FW15 leather goods collection.
Other notable features include an eight-sided steel crown over-moulded with rubber, an LV 168 automatic movement, a total of 51 jewels and water resistance up to 100 metres.
Founded in France in 1854, Louis Vuitton has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned luxury brands.
