Louis Vuitton Unveil New Tambour Blue Timepiece

By Paul Joseph

Iconic French fashion house Louis Vuitton has created a new edition of its highly popular Tambour Blue timepiece, which first launched in 2002.

Available in highly contrasting brushed and polished metal finishes, the new model features a rich deep blue colour on the dial and is marked with the distinctive back ‘V’.

The date indicator is located between the 4th and the 5th hour marker on the right hand side of the dial, while the dial is flanked by a black alligator and calf bi-material strap with blue highlights.

The sapphire glass that sits atop the dial is reflection-proof, thus making reading the time a lot more comfortable at any time of the day.

Other notable features include an ETA 2894.2 movement with a 42-hour power reserve, and water resistance up to to 100 etres.

The new Louis Vuitton Tambour Blue chronograph is priced at €6,800 and is expected to arrive in stores later this month.

Founded in France in 1854, Louis Vuitton has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned luxury brands.
