Iconic French fashion house Louis Vuitton has opened its first ever European Airport Store at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.

Spread across 301 square metres, the store is dedicated to Louis Vuitton’s travel heritage and is billed as an entirely new retail concept for the modern explorer.

The store’s opening coincides with the arrival of Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2015 collection, which was recently showcased for the first time in Monaco.

The collection features an array of aquatic motifs, from cut out ‘portholes’ on navy sweaters to maritime flares to the rich embroideries depicting coral branches.

Founded in France in 1854, Louis Vuitton has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned luxury brands.
