Louis Vuitton’s Regalia Jewellery Collection A Homage to Female Power

By Paul Joseph

Historic French fashion giants Louis Vuitton have unveiled their latest jewellery offering, called the Regalia collection.

The brand’s first jewellery range since the appointment of Francesca Amfitheatrof as artistic director for jewelry and watches in April, the 60-piece collection is being billed as one of Louis Vouitton’s most elaborate assortment of jewels to date.

It is also fitting for it to arrive at a time when the fight for female empowerment is being given substantial attention, since it delivers to the wearer a strong sense of sovereignty and power.

The bold, elegant and sophisticated pieces in the collection feature opulent and rich coloured stones that create an eye-catching contrast to the adjoining diamonds.

The hallmark pattern of Louis Vuitton – the V-shaped monogram and flower - is used to set the main stone asymmetrically, an element that can be witnessed across the entire collection.

Founded in France in 1854, Louis Vuitton has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned luxury fashion brands.
