Luxury Florida Penthouse Goes Under The Hammer

By P. Joseph

An ultra-luxury penthouse condominium in Boca Raton, Florida, is to be sold at an upcoming auction, with a starting price of $4.2 million.

The newly-renovated property is one of 27 premium residences at the prestigious Excelsior Condominium, located directly on the beach in Boca Raton in an area known to many as the "Magnificent Mile."

Boasting 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the penthouse encompasses nearly 5,100 square feet. Design features include 48-inch slab granite floors with inlaid LED crystal lighting, hand-painted French murals, Italian glass mosaic bath decor, and hand-blown glass sinks.

Other state-of-the art facilities include a programmable shower system, a ceiling-concealed television and a Crestron home automation system which controls audio/video, climate, security, lighting, and windows.

As one of only two units occupying the top floor of the building, the penthouse offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and of the Intracoastal Waterway
and Lake Boca Raton to the west. Terraces on the north, east, and west sides of the residence provide space for relaxing outdoors.

The auction, whist will take place on June 21st, is being held by real estate auction company Platinum Luxury Auctions, and is limited to registered bidders only. From May 16 the property is open for previews by appointment.

Trayor Lesnock, President of Platinum Luxury Auctions, said: "This residence is a must-see for the luxury purchaser.

"Our research shows this to be the first ever oceanfront penthouse auction in this area. This is a rare opportunity at a very prized location in Palm Beach County.”

Based in Miami, Florida, Platinum Luxury Auctions handles luxury properties and assets in excess of $1 million. As well as luxury real estate, the company also has luxury yacht and aircraft divisions.
