Luxury French Property Website is Launched

French Property website My-French-House.com has launched a new online portal dedicated exclusively to luxury homes.

The UK-based site, which helps English buyers find their ideal home across the Channel, has seen demand rise in some of France’s most popular areas, particularly in the Provence region, which stretches from the Alps to the Mediterranean.

Patrick Joseph, owner of the website, said the launch of LuxuryHomeinFrance.com aimed to make house hunting easier for purchasers who were specifically looking for larger or more exclusive homes in France.

“Houses in France are more realistically priced than the UK and people who want to retain a luxury lifestyle are realising that they can get more for their money near the Riviera resorts than in some of the more upmarket English towns and villages,” Mr Joseph told Superyachts.com.

Mr Joseph said the Riviera resorts of Nice, Cannes, Villefranche sur Mer and Beaulieu were attracting buyers looking for large properties where they could host gatherings to coincide with events such as the Cannes Film Festival or Monaco Grand Prix.

“There’s a definite trend towards property owners looking for somewhere to host their own business and social events at key times of the year within easy access of the Cote d’Azur’s 30 picturesque ports,” he said.

“There are some beautiful properties available within easy reach of the stylish Mediterranean marinas of Cannes, Monaco, St Tropez and Menton and many hosts extend the Riviera experience to their guests by chartering a yacht and spending a day or two hopping between resorts.”
