Luxury Private Hideway To Be Built on Pearl Island

By P. Joseph

Pearl Island, an idyllic Pacific island situated an hour’s boat ride from Panama City in Central America, is being transformed into a luxurious 5-star sustainable hideaway with a range of stunning homes and villas for sale.

Offering 30km of natural coastline, 14 private sandy beaches, and an abundance of rich flora and fauna, Pearl Island is billed as one of the world’s last remaining unspoilt havens. Developers say that 75% of the historic 6,000 year old island will remain untouched.

The real estate and leisure development will feature a select number of home sites and cliff-top ocean-fronting villas. Home sites range from one to two acres in size, and are priced from $800,000 to $2 million. The villas, limited in number, range from two to four bedrooms and can be purchased on a turn-key basis.

A vast range of amenities will also be available to property buyers on the island including a gym, kids’ club, tennis courts, equestrian centre, ocean-front beach club, spa and marina.

The development is the result of a collaboration between leading luxury resort investor and developer Dolphin Capital Investors and Panamanian based Grupo Eleta

A portion of the funds generated by property sales will go to the not-for-profit Island Foundation, which sponsors projects to protect the local environment and wildlife, whilst attempting to re-establish the natural pearl farming industry that the island was once famed for.
