Luxury Villa Opens at Amanzoe Resort in The Peloponnese

Amanzoe, a luxury resort in The Peloponnese in Southern Greece, has introduced a lavish new villa boating seven swimming pools, wellness facilities and its own beach cabana.

Perched high on the Peloponnese peninsula in hilly olive groves, the nine-bedroom villa, called Villa 20, is spread over six levels on four acres of land

Designed by Ed Tuttle, the villa’s six levels cascade down the hillside so that each living area and suite can enjoy the panoramic vistas of rolling hills and the Aegean Sea.

Three out of the nine suites feature their own pools and all common areas and bedrooms open onto expansive terraces. The different levels of the villa are interconnected through an inclined elevator to allow easy access to all facilities.

Guests at Villa 20 will benefit from their own host and chef who can create dedicated menus in one of two kitchens, and a full complement of staff.

Other notable amenities include the beach cabana at Amanzoe’s Beach Club, which provides a tenth suite, the seventh pool and a garden.

Furthermore, the wellness facilities include two treatment rooms, a gym with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and Pilates reformers, and a 15-metre indoor lap pool surrounded by floor to ceiling windows.

Within the spa is a steam room, hammam, cold plunge pool surrounded by slate and marble tiles with a glass sunroof ceiling. A whirlpool and yoga studio complete the offering.

Surrounding the wellness centre on the fourth level is a sun terrace with fragrant gardens filled with olive groves, lavender, cypress and pine trees and herbs, planted for their aromas.

The villa will be available to rent from April 2016, when Amanzoe re-opens for the season, with prices starting at €25,000 euros per night for the peak months of July and August.
