LVZZ Luxury Hotel Opens in Bodrum, Turkey
The resort of Bodrum in southwest Turkey could be one step closer to becoming the “next St Tropez” after being made home to a stunning new luxury hotel.
LVZZ Hotel is the brainchild of Sinan Ozer, founder and CEO of yacht building company Aegean Yachts, who believes Bodrum can replicate the success of the ultra-chic town on the French riviera.
Speaking to Superyachts.com, Mr Ozer pointed to Bodrum’s “easy going atmosphere, self assuredness of a 3,000 year history, a permissive and hedonist feeling, a great micro-climate and probably the cleanest air in the world” as evidence of the resort’s burgeoning potential.
Overlooking the legendary St. Petrum Castle and with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, LVZZ boasts an ideal location in the heart of Bodrum, and is close to all of the resort’s major attractions including its vibrant nightlife.
The stylish hotel offers an array of luxurious facilities and amenities including an outdoor pool, a fully equipped Spa complete with Turkish Bath, a gourmet restaurant offering local cuisine, and a Jazz Bar hosting well-known musicians all year round.
Mr Ozer believes his experience in the yachting industry prepared him well for the task of creating a luxury hotel, pointing to “geometry and attention to detail” as ways in which there are natural industry cross-overs.
“I have been to many very nice hotels in the world and I saw flaws when it comes to details,” he said.
If Mr Ozer's success in the superyacht industry is anything to go by, LVZZ is unlikely to be tainted by any such flaws.
