Villa Azzaytouna, which has been built on the Ezzahra Estate, sleeps up to six people and is situated within over 5,000 square metres of landscaped gardens. It comes with a bespoke sunken candle lit Berber tent and a 12.8 metre swimming pool and is fully serviced with all meals, transport within Marrakech and beauty treatments included in the price.
It has three bedrooms, all with private terraces with large daybeds and fireplaces for the winter, while two of the rooms have plunge pools, which are lit at night. The large pool – heated as required – is surrounded by loungers and Indian daybeds and is shaded by olive
There is a private spa with a hammam, a separate spacious domed sitting and dining room with bespoke Moroccan hanging lamps and a dining terrace overlooking the pool.
The villa can be rented separately or together with Villa Ezzahra (sleeping 14) and/or Villa Alkhozama (sleeping 4). With the owner’s pavilion, the private estate can now sleep up to 26 for a party or family gathering.
The interiors, which have a contemporary Moroccan feel, have been designed by Philip Hooper from Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler.
Meals are prepared by Villa Azzaytouna’s house chef, while guests can have unlimited spa treatments in the villa’s private spa, which has a treatment room and hammam, by the pool or in the privacy of their own room.
Guides can be arranged to show guests the best of the Medina and souks, while day trips to the Atlas Mountains, 40km from Villa Azzaytouna, can be organised including a one or two hour mule trek and a country lunch.
Prices start from £1,500 per day for two or four people and £2,000 per day for six. The price includes all meals (excluding alcohol), airport transfers and assistance, unlimited chauffeur driven vehicle within Marrakech and unlimited beauty treatments.
