Maserati and Zanotta Create Capsule Interiors Collection

By Paul Joseph

Sports car brand Maserati have collaborated with luxury furniture makers Zanotta to create a lavish new capsule interiors collection.

The collection, which launched at the prestigious Salone del Mobile design fair in Milan, Italy two weeks ago, features a range of luxurious pieces including a foot rest, a Corina chair and a Maestrale table.

Each piece in the collection was designed by renowned Italian architects Luovica+Roberto Palomba and bear hallmarks inspired by the classic design style of Maserati cars.

The footrest boasts a stylish chrome base that can be customised with a nickel-played glossy black finish, whilst a quilted removable cover can be purchased in a choice of dark grey, light grey or mud-coloured leather.

The Corina chair has been influenced by the curved aesthetic of Maserati car seats, with a leather cover complementing a metal rod frame. Meanwhile the Maestrale desk was crafted to include a flat walnut top resting on a steel rod frame with a plywood or pigmented cowhide drawer.

The new collection is a continuation of Maserati and Zanotta’s ongoing relationship which saw the creation and launch of the Maserati Grantour Lounge Chair last year.

Visitors to the Salone del Mobile fair were able to view the collection from 8th – 13th April.
