MB&F Gallery Opens in Geneva

A unique gallery space showcasing work by Swiss watch laboratory MB&F and other art has opened in Geneva.

Located close to MB&F’s offices and atelier in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town, the M.A.D. Gallery features a range of MB&F watches, as well as specially-curated pieces that the company is calling “Mechanical Art Devices” (M.A.D).

The exhibition will evolve with new arrivals at the gallery planned throughout the year.

Amongst the pieces on display are the ‘Machine Lights’ concept lights from Berlin-based Frank Buchwald, hand-blown hour glasses by designer Marc Newson, striking metallic sculptures by Chinese artist Xia Hang, and a toy car by Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc.

MB&F Founder and Creator Maximilian Büsser said: “We saw the M.A.D.Gallery as the perfect platform to showcase our own Machines as well as other pieces of kinetic art by other creators whom we greatly admire.

“Thanks to the M.A.D.Gallery we are meeting like-minded artists operating in parallel worlds; people who think like us and share our passion for creating kinetic art.”

MB&F was founded in 2006 as a creative laboratory to develop three-dimensional high-end timepieces.
