MB&F Launch $92,000 Timepiece
Swiss watchmakers MB&F, renowned for their distinctive and unusual watch designs, have launched a new addition to their collection - the Frog Zr.
Limited to just 18 pieces, and with a retail price of $92,000, the watch is fitted with a purple 22K rose gold automatic winding rotor that spins on the dial, reflecting green and yellow colours.
Powered by a Girard-Perregaux base, with a balance oscillating at 28,800 bph, its movement is a three-dimensional horological engine designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht/Agenhor.
Other features include bulbous domes housing the watch’s hours and minutes that enable the wearer to read the time from different angles without having to turn the wrist.
It also comes with a space-grade zirconium case complete with clover-head screws, an engraved arrow indicating the date and a display back revealing the dual ceramic bearings that drive the domes.
