McLaren 675LT to Launch at Geneva Motor Show

By Paul Joseph

McLaren is to launch its new 675LT supercar at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the British manufacturer has announced.

The 675LT will join McLaren’s P1 GTR, a multimillion-pound track-only hybrid hypercar , in debuting at the eagerly anticipated Geneva show.

Referencing the modern-classic F1 GTR “Longtail” racer, the 675LT is available only as a hardtop coupe.

It features numerous aerodynamic upgrades, ensuring it becomes the most powerful model in what McLaren is billing as its “Super Series”, which includes the 650S and Asia-only 625C.

The 675LT takes its name from the power output derived from its 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine in PS – a figure that translates to a devilish 666bhp.

Better known as a Formula One team, McLaren has designed high-end road sports cars since 1989.

The Geneva Motor Show will run from 5th – 15th March.
