The developers behind the unique Zaha Hadid-designed “ME by Melia” hotel project in Dubai have unveiled artistic renderings showing how the completed hotel will look.

Situated in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa District, which is now 50 per cent complete, the hotel will be spread over 250,000 square feet and will feature Michelin star restaurants, lounges and cafes.

Other notable amenities will include a dedicated ‘Aura manager’ allocated to every guest to act as their personal concierge and provide expert knowledge on Dubai.

The standout accommodation option will a series of exclusive serviced apartments called The Opus, which will include four penthouses with private roof terraces on the upper floors.

The hotel is being developed by Dubai-based property developer Omniyat and is the first to be fully designed – interior and exterior – by British Iraqi architect Hadid.

Melia Hotels International, which will operate The ME by Melia, currently runs more than 350 hotels and 90,000 rooms in 39 countries.

The ME by Melia in Dubai is due to open in 2016.
