Meet The Wall Luxury: Samsung’s Latest Super-Sized TV

By Paul Joseph

South Korean tech giant Samsung has pushed the boundaries of televisual innovation by designing an augmented version of its expandable MicroLED-based TV set.

Called ‘Meet the Wall Luxury’, the set can scale from a modest 73 inches in 2K definition all the way up to 292 inches in 8K definition  - that’s over 24 feet in the diagonal.

Despite its enormous size, The Wall Luxury has a depth of only 30mm and features a totally bezel-free design.

The set also has exceptional specs to match its size, equipped as it is with an AI picture quality engine known as Quantum Processor Flex which helps in upscaling and optimising picture quality.

The 292-inch screen will also offer Quantum HDR technology with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, users can activate Ambient Mode which turns the display into a veritable art installation when not in use – similar to Samsung’s disappearing QLED TV range which was revealed last year.

The Wall Luxury will be available for sale worldwide from July, although pricing has not yet been announced.

Founded in 1938, Samsung is headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul, South Korea.
