Mercedes Launches First Ever ‘Fleet Experience’ Event

By Paul Joseph

Last week Mercedes-Benz held its inaugural ‘Fleet Experience’ event, inviting new and existing fleet customers to test drive its latest models.

Taking place at Mercedes-Benz World at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey, in the United Kingtdom, the event saw visitors sampling the unique driving experiences offered by the likes of the new E-Class range, and the best-selling A-Class.

In addition to test drives, the occasion also gave visitors the chance to experience the Mercedes-Benz brand and learn more about the company’s future strategy.

Rob East, Head of Fleet, Mercedes-Benz Cars, said: “The customer experience is a crucial part of our ongoing fleet strategy; we want to create an emotional bond between our brand and our customers.

“Mercedes-Benz World is the perfect venue to showcase our newest technology and to get guests behind the wheel both on-road and on the track – I’m confident the event will be both valuable and insightful.”

Fleet guests witnessed the latest in driving assistance technology, thanks to the new E-Class, and there were also a range of demonstrations to highlight the Drive Pilot and autonomous braking systems. Indeed, E-mobility was a big focus throughout the event, with the E 350 e Saloon available for test drives.

Last year Mercedes-Benz World celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade which saw over three million people welcomed through its doors.
