Mercedes Launches Special Edition A Class
Mercedes-Benz have created a special edition Mercedes-AMG A Class to celebrate the German luxury carmaker’s victorious Formula One season.
The Mercedes-AMG A 45 4Matic Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition offers four-wheel drive, 381hp, a 0-100km/h time of 4.2 seconds plus a host of unique racing-inspired features.
Other notable features borrowed from F1 include external aerodynamic streamlining package, 19-inch alloys and a special silver, black and green paint finish to match the Mercedes F1 cars that raced away to this year’s title.
“With the World Champion Edition we would like to share with our customers our delight and pride in the strong performance of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team,” said Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG. “This is a way for every fan to share the success of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.”
This year has seen the Mercedes Petronas F1 team perform a clean sweep, coming first and second in the drivers’ championship and clinching the constructors’ trophy too.
The special edition Mercedes will go on sale for just four months, starting in January, with prices starting at €65,402.
