Mercedes to Debut C63 AMG Edition 507 in Geneva

Mercedes-Benz are to launch their brand new C63 AMG Edition 507 model at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Available in both sedan and coupe body styles, the new model is billed as a more powerful version of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, powered by a 507-horsepower AMG V8 engine.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the performance enhancements are the result of tweaks to the V8 engine, which now boasts forged pistons, new connecting rods and lighter crankshaft, and a new remapped engine controller.

Other notable additions include five-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels (available in a high-sheen titanium grey or matte black), a vented hood, AMG stripes on the rocker panels and gloss black accents on the grille, rear spoiler and mirrors.

On the car’s interior there is a sport steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara, red accents in the gauge cluster and high-gloss piano black accents throughout the cabin. Additionally, an “Edition 507” badge on the passenger side of the instrument panel lends the car further exclusivity.

The new Mercedes C63 AMG Edition 507 is expected to be in showrooms by the Summer, although an official price has not yet been announced.

The Geneva Motor Show runs from 7th – 17th March.
