Milan’s Excelsior Hotel Gallia Earns Title of World’s Best Hotel Suite

For the second year running, the ultra-luxury Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan has earned the coveted title of being home to the world’s best hotel suite.

The honour was once again bestowed on the hotel at the World Travel Awards, which named the Katara Suite as the World’s Leading Hotel Suite of the year.

Spread over 11,000 square feet and able to sleep up to 8 people, the extravagant suite is the largest in Italy. It boasts four bedrooms, all of which feature Murano glass chandeliers, two terraces, a conference room, and a private Padoga spa room with a hot tub, a Turkish bath and a sauna.

Designed with VIP guests in mind, it also features bulletproof windows and a direct “diplomatic entrance” with lift for heads of state or high-profile celebrities.

The lounge furniture was designed by Fendi Casa and was designed to complement the surrounding greenery.

Guests who are feeling really extravagant also have the option to book the adjoining Princess Suite too, which increases the living space by one bedroom and one bathroom.

The Katara Suite at Excelsior Hotel Gallia is priced at €20,290 per night.
