Miu Miu Unveils Its Debut Fragrance

By Paul Joseph

Miu Miu, the luxury women's clothing and accessory brand from the Prada fashion house, has launched its first ever fragrance.

The launch, which represents the first time that Miu Miu has expanded outside the fashion and accessories markets, has been accompanied by an advertising campaign featuring French-English actress Stacy Martin

Shot by renowned American fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the film star wears a blue printed dress while peering over at the vintage style perfume bottle.

The fragrance is billed as offering depth with a twist to the saccharine sweetness, while floral notes with a spicy, peppery twinge prevail.

The bottle itself features a pastel blue body imprinted with the brand’s signature matelassé, with a flat red topper inspired by vintage fragrance caps that women used to apply scents to their necks.

Miu Miu was established in 1993 by Miuccia Prada, the Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur behind Prada.
