Mobile fireplaces from Flying Cavalries
Architecture and interior design company Flying Cavalries have created a series of unique mobile fireplaces that double as coffee tables.
Priced between £5,200 and £5,900, the compact fireplaces, which come in three models - Hillside, Aurora and Terragen – are designed to be positioned anywhere within the home.
Two of the models are built into the centre of coffee tables, whilst another comes attached to an ergonomic sofa chair that can also be folded into a coffee table.
The free-standing fireplaces are designed using materials including oak, natural stone, and glass.
Chimney-free and with no need for bearing walls, the practical fires also run on an eco-friendly bioethanol liquid fuel.
Flying Cavalries claims says that each model is inspired by elements from nature – volcanoes, hillsides and polar lights.
The London-based company was founded in 2009.
