Moët & Chandon Marks 20 Years of Federer Greatness

By Paul Joseph

French fine winery Moët & Chandon has marked 20 years of achievements by legendary Swiss tennis star Roger Federer with a special edition champagne collection.

Called “Greatness Since 1998”, the collection is presented in Grand Vintage magnum bottles that are wrapped in a leather racquet grip similar to the grip on the tennis star’s own racquets.

Underneath the wrapping, the bottle’s label bears the athlete’s signature while the inside of the bottle’s tie features the text, “Dreams do come true.”

Each bottle is priced at $20,000 with proceeds benefitting the Roger Federer Foundation, which supports the education of underprivileged children in Southern Africa and Switzerland.

The Champagne is sold by special order only and can only be purchased in Europe.

Roger Federer has served as a brand ambassador for Moët & Chandon since 2012.

Moët & Chandon was established in 1743 by Claude Moët, and today owns more than 1,000 hectares of vineyards.
