Montblanc Introduces Two New TimeWalker Watches

By Paul Joseph

Earlier this month, German luxury goods brand Montblanc marked its second year as The Official Timing Partner of the Goodwood Festival of Speed by introducing two new editions of its classic TimeWalker watch.

Called the TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph and the TimeWalker Date Automatic, the two limited editions both feature dials with harmonious colour schemes of beige and brown counters and flanges.

The TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph is limited to 1,500 pieces, whereas the TimeWalker Date Automatic is limited to 500 pieces. There is no word on pricing yet.

Montblanc timed all the races held during this year’s festival, including the famous 1.16-mile Hillclimb Shootout, which determined the champion of the 2018 Festival of Speed and the winner of a Montblanc timepiece.

“There are only a few motor racing celebrations as thrilling and exciting as the Goodwood Festival of Speed,” said Montblanc CEO Nicolas Baretzki.

“With the participation of magnificent cars that range from the vintage to the most avant-garde, this event is the perfect partnership for Montblanc, a Maison that celebrates its spirit of innovation and its long watchmaking heritage.”

Montblanc was founded by Claus-Johannes Voss, Alfred Nehemias and August Eberstein in Germany in 1908.
