Myconian Collection

By Paul Joseph

Myconian Collection, a family-owned hotel brand on the Greek party island of Mykonos, has launched a new series of curated experiences that invites guests to uncover the island’s hidden secrets.

The experiences cover land, sea and sky, and offer the chance to explore much of the mythical folklore that has made Mykonos one of the most intriguing of all the Greek islands – alongside being one of the most hedonistic.

Adventurous visitors can follow in the footsteps of the ancient Greeks and explore the wonders of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in the company of a private guide. During the trip guests will learn the lay of the land and simple pleasures from farmers who know the terrain of the island like the back of their hand.

There are also experiences that includes a private wine tasting with a Myconian sommelier, cooking classes at a chef’s table, gaining a unique perspective from the sky by helicopter, and discovering the wonders of the sea in the luxury of a private yacht.

For guests wishing to indulge in such experiences, they have all of Myconian Collection's stunning hotels to choose as their base.

Among them, in Mykonos Town, set on top of the famous Mykonian hill and overlooking the emblematic Alefkandra windmills, is the five-star Myconian Kyma Hotel. Rooms and suites here follow the straight lines and curves of the Cycladic architecture, with some boasting their own private pool overlooking the sea.

At the on-site restaurant, guests can taste authentic Mediterranean flavours, and at the hip bar by the main pool they can enjoy a cocktail while taking in the panoramic views over the island.

Within walking distance is the cosmopolitan Mykonos Town with its famous windmills and lively nightlife, while Mykonos Port is a short drive away.
