Nat Sherman Teams Up With Esquire Magazine

By P. Joseph

Nat Sherman’s flagship store in New York is currently doubling as an exclusive furniture showroom as part of a collaboration between the luxury tobacconists and Men’s magazine Esquire.

The store, located on Manhattan’s East 42nd Street, is featuring Esquire’s new Home Collection of furniture and accessories until mid-April. On view for purchase are three unique home décor pieces made especially for the flagship store.

Over its scheduled eight-week run, the space – called Esquire Home @ Nat Sherman – is playing host to a series of events, including an April 8 launch party for Esquire fashion guide The Big Black Book. A limited-edition Nat Sherman cigar commemorating the Esquire partnership is also available to purchase.

Nat Sherman CEO Joel Sherman said: "Over the years the nature of cigar smoking has changed, and become more of a lifestyle experience.

"At one time a humidor was the only piece of furniture required for one to be considered a connoisseur, but today it encompasses the entire furniture collection.

“This is why we could not think of a better partner than Esquire and their home collection for this project."

Founded in 1930, Nat Sherman specialises in fine smoking goods and lifestyle accessories.
