New Dubai Hotel Boasts its own Rainforest

Known for its extravagant ventures, Dubai is exceeding expectations once more by introducing the first hotel in the world with its very own rainforest, providing guests with a sensory experience like nowhere else.

Operating under Hilton’s Curio brand, the $550 million Rosemont Hotel & Residence Dubai is a dual-tower development that will cover 13,000 sq ft. It will be situated on the Sheikh Zayed Road, near Barsha Heights, nestled in the centre of a famed highway stretch.

The hotel will feature an outdoor rainforest, an indoor beach, a stream, trees, and an adventure play area for children. Additionally, the it will include a bowling alley, a trampoline, a splash pool, a sky pool, restaurants a health club, 280-unit serviced apartments and 450 guestrooms.

The development is currently under construction, with the hotel estimated to open in 2019. Each tower will have 53 storeys, with the rainforest on level five.

Guests will be able to experience a fully-immersive sense of being in a jungle seeing flora and fauna from ground to the canopy. The air will be misted using a sensory system simulating the euphoric sensation of being surrounded by rainfall without actually getting wet.

Additionally, there will be a spa, restaurants, health club, as well as an onsite theatre. The bowling alley and skydiving will also be undertaken in a simulator, creating a surreal experience that feels in every way otherworldly.
