New Hybrid Bike to Launch at Monaco luxury Fair

M55, makers of high-spec electric bicycles, are to launch their new model at the prestigious Top Marques luxury fair in Monaco in April.

The Deamon bike, the third model to emerge from the M55 stable, is billed as a streamlined, urbanised representation of the company’s trademark design.

Lighter and more agile than M55’s previous models, the Deamon will feature ‘his and hers’ geometry – with one version tailored for women and another for men.

M55 claim the technical modifications will deliver superior performance on paved roads, with its fat slick tires offering enhanced traction and its rigid frame providing efficient energy transfer.

The suspension performance will be reduced to 120-120 mm, whilst retaining fully adjustable air suspension. It will also boast an increased battery cell capacity to provide a greater range of up to 80 miles, as well as an integrated GPS system.

The price of the Deamon will be €13,300 (£11,200), available to buy in Spring 2011.
