New Lamborghini Gallardo Set for September Delivery
Delivery of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse in the US will begin in September, the Italian luxury sports car maker has announced.
Limited to just 50 units – and only 15 in the US – the all-wheel-drive Squadra Corse boasts a 570-horsepower V10, carbon-fibre rear wing and removable engine hood and will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany the same month it begins delivery.
Based on the Gallardo Superleggera, the new Gallardo LP 570-4 weighs in at 2,954 pounds - 154 pounds lighter than its predecessor, and also boasts carbon-ceramic brakes.
In terms of performance, the car can hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 199mph.
Other notable features include carbon fibre bucket seats with Alcantara centre, and carbon fibre door panels, centre console cover, handbrake frame and steering wheel lower section.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will be priced at $264,195.
