The prestigious Mayfair eatery has created a private jet menu that can be ordered online before being hand delivered to airfields, or collected as per the customer’s wishes, ready for serving on board.
Caroline Taylor, Novikov general manager, said: “We always try to accommodate our guest’s requests and many of our customers often want to sample our cuisine even when they’re not in London and with our new service they’ll be able to do this.”
If the service is a success,the restaurant has indicated that it will be extended to luxury yachts.
Popular dishes available for the private jet menu include sashimi, nigiri, spicy miso baby chicken, and trofie pasta served with wild rabbit ragout in Chianti wine sauce.
Owned by Russian restaurateur Arkady Novikov, Novikov opened its doors in 2011 and Novikov quickly became one of London’s most prestigious restaurants. Its owner’s second London venture, Rextail, opened late last year.
