Oil Nut Bay Unveils Ultra-Luxury Spa in the BVI

By Paul Joseph

The luxury island resort of Oil Nut Bay in the British Virgin Islands has added a lavish new component to its offerings – a state-of-the-art spa.

Perched atop dramatic cliffs, the spa houses two treatment rooms and a beauty room with floor-to-ceiling windows, opening to the pristine blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Outside, guests can lounge in the heated saltwater infinity plunge pool or practice relaxation techniques on the yoga platform. The spa also features organic, toxin-free products that are handcrafted in small batches from London’s world-renowned beauty brand, The Organic Pharmacy.

Among the indulgent services available at the spa are body sculpting and wraps as well as massage, facial, hand, foot and beauty treatments.

All of this – and more – is now available to guests and residents at Oil Nut Bay. Accessible only by boat or helicopter, this sustainably preserved luxury residential and resort community provides high-end villa rental and home ownership opportunities.

Spread across 300 acres, the resort’s unique selling point is providing the exclusivity of a private-island lifestyle with the luxury of five-star amenities and services.

Other notable amenities at Oil Nut Bay include world-class dining at the Beach Club Restaurant, the hobbit-inspired Nut House and Nature Center with learn-through-play activities for all ages, and a Marina Village offering 93 yacht berths for vessels up to 91 metres in length.

Guest services include housekeeping, babysitting, chef services, provisioning, arrangements for private excursions, as well as property and rental management for homeowners.

For those keen to explore the wider region, there are numerous beauty spots and places of interest close by. In fact, you can easily reach two or three islands in a day by boat, and you’re never more than two-hours from an anchorage point.

Standout attractions include The Baths, a geological wonder comprised of granite boulders, where sheltered sea pools teeming with underwater life form on the beach's edge, making it a snorkeler’s dream.
